Hello!

I’m Tara, a 34 year old lady originally from England. I moved to Australia 6 years ago and now live in Queensland as an Australian Citizen. A few years ago I bought a small unit in Hervey Bay, which is now rented out. I live on the Sunshine Coast again now and am looking to complete petsits on the Sunshine Coast.

I had a baby in April 2024 and continue to work for myself for my business offering cleaning and domestic assistance, and support work to Aged Care and NDIS clients. I love what I do and my clients are like friends or family to me now. In my past life in Cambridge, England I worked as an Events Coordinator at two Uni of Cambridge colleges and as a qualified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I also have a First-class undergraduate BSc degree in Psychology from a UK university. I am currently completing an online Cert III course too.

I love animals and have had a number of pets in the past though have none now. I am organised, clean, tidy, positive, flexible and caring. I’m into fitness, cooking and nature. When housesitting, in the evenings I like to relax by cuddling up with the pets and enjoying watching a good series or movie on Netflix! I am also completing a Cert 3 at the moment.

I started housesitting in 2019 and now use this website and another popular Australian one to arrange them through. In 2020-2021 I housesat pretty much every day for a year. I’ve looked after heaps of different types of animals from axolotl fish and hermit crabs to dogs, cats and chickens.
