Hi! I’m Cassie (37), a dependable, grounded, and caring house and pet sitter offering thoughtful, loving care for both your pets and your home. I work remotely, which means your animals will have consistent companionship throughout the day, with plenty of time for walks, cuddles, and calm connection.

I previously ran my own dog walking and sitting business and spent two years living on a 50-acre dog rescue farm, where I supported the rehabilitation of dogs with behavioral needs to help prepare them for adoption. The property also included horses, goats, donkeys, cats, and two Airbnbs, which I helped maintain through daily animal care, cleaning, and guest communication. I’ve also fostered dogs long-term and bring a gentle, intuitive, and deeply respectful approach to every animal I meet. Having grown up in the Canadian countryside, I’m very comfortable with everything from mowing lawns and tending gardens to caring for farm animals and managing larger properties.

I’m joined by Sage, my calm and incredibly sweet 6-year-old Golden Retriever, who has been therapy trained and has worked alongside children in supportive settings. Sage is deeply socialized and has lived alongside dogs, cats, chickens, cows, birds, and horses. She never overwhelms other animals - instead, she gently matches their energy and brings a quiet, grounding presence to any space she’s in. She’s used to a relaxed work-from-home rhythm, enjoys two walks or outings a day (beach walks are her favorite), and spends most of her time peacefully snoozing nearby. More often than not, other pets quickly settle into her calm rhythm too.

I’ve house and pet sat extensively across Queensland and New South Wales, caring for everything from cosy coastal homes to large rural properties. I treat every home with great respect and every animal as if they were my own. I’m very happy to follow your pets’ routines closely, provide gentle companionship, water plants, keep your home clean and well cared for, and send regular updates so you can travel with complete peace of mind.
