Hello! We’re a mature, responsible, caring couple, 44 and 51, based in Launceston, Tasmania, currently looking for house and pet sitting while we search for a property of our own. As experienced former homeowners and lifelong animal lovers, we understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust to care for your home, pets, and property.

We have prior house and pet sitting experience, including a recent sit on a rural Tasmanian property. There, we cared for the home and garden, ensured property security, maintained vegetable patches, and tended to a variety of beloved animals - two beautiful cats, a rabbit, a pet sheep, a feisty little guinea pig, chickens, and a rooster. We even helped welcome and support visiting Hipcamp guests staying in their caravans, and ended up pet sitting for some of them as well!

Our love for animals runs deep - we’ve owned and cared for various breeds of dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, farm animals, including caring for wildlife, and we have a long-standing commitment to animal rescue. We’re comfortable with nearly any type of animal, and we’re proactive, observant, and knowledgeable about their wellbeing. Safety, companionship, and comfort for your pets are always our top priorities.

I am home full-time, ensuring a consistent presence at your property, while my partner works early shifts at Fulton Hogan and is home by early afternoon. This means your pets will enjoy company, walks, playtime, and consistent, attentive care throughout the day.

We're physically active, outdoorsy, non-smokers, and take pride in being clean, tidy, and respectful in any home. We also bring practical experience with garden care, lawn maintenance, pool upkeep, and indoor plant care. Being former homeowners ourselves, we naturally treat every space with the same care and consideration as our own.

We’re happy to collect mail, assist with calls or messages, water gardens, do minor maintenance, or help with any other tasks to keep things running smoothly in your absence. We're also very security-conscious and reliable, each with our own transport and flexibility to attend vet visits or collect supplies as needed.
