Hi! I’m originally from Switzerland and lived in Perth’s northern suburbs for 17 wonderful years before returning to Switzerland. Perth has a very special place in my heart, and I’ll be coming back from 17 December 2026 to 29 January 2027 to visit friends, reconnect with the place that will always feel like home, and enjoy being back in beautiful Western Australia.
Having lived in Perth for so many years, I know the area well and still have wonderful connections there. I’m looking forward to spending time in a place I love while having the privilege of caring for someone’s home and beloved pets.
Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I share my home with three beautiful 12-year-old cats of my own, who travelled with me when I returned to Switzerland after my 17 years in Perth. I know first-hand how important it is to provide pets with a safe, calm, and loving environment, especially during times of change.
Having used pet sitters in my own home in Perth when I travelled, I also understand from the homeowner’s perspective how important it is to find someone trustworthy, respectful, and caring. I truly appreciate the trust involved when welcoming someone into your home to look after your beloved pets.
Over the years, I have cared for both cats and dogs, including most recently staying in a client’s home in Landsdale, in January 2025 to look after two dogs while their owners were away. I have also cared for cats for various owners and understand the importance of maintaining each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs.
While living in Western Australia, I volunteered with Cat Haven, caring for cats in need. I was also responsible for transporting animals from Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm to community events, setting up the mobile farm, ensuring the animals’ wellbeing throughout the events, and coordinating a junior volunteer who supported me.
These experiences have given me valuable hands-on experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that every pet is unique and that maintaining their routines, providing companionship, and giving them individual attention helps them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.
I’m a respectful, tidy, and reliable person who takes pride in looking after someone else’s home as if it were my own. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big decision, and I would treat that trust with the utmost care and respect.
Whether your pets enjoy cuddles, playtime, quiet company, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
For your peace of mind, I have applied for police clearance checks in both Australia and Switzerland and would be happy to provide references.
