We're an easygoing, mature couple on a journey of discovery—doing the big lap of Australia while living in our caravan with our brother-sister cat duo, Birdy and Rosa. Unlike typical backpackers, we're at a stage in life where we're looking for our next home base, and house sitting gives us the perfect opportunity to truly experience different communities and lifestyles.

Our Background:
Roan brings solid property experience as a former homeowner in the Netherlands, with hands-on skills in maintenance, gardening, and repairs. He's a natural handyman who can fix just about anything—from cars and caravans to household repairs and motorbikes.
Amie has professional cleaning experience and grew up in a Malaysian village surrounded by cats, dogs, chickens, and various other animals, giving her a natural ease with all creatures great and small.

Pet Care Expertise:
We've fostered numerous cats across Australia and Malaysia, so we understand different temperaments, medical needs, and the importance of maintaining routines. Roan grew up with dogs and loves all animals. Having our own cats travel with us means we're well-versed in keeping pets calm, happy, and healthy in various situations.

Our Setup:
We travel with our caravan and ideally look for sits where we can park it on-site while staying in the house with the pets (and our cats). However, we're flexible and can comfortably stay in our caravan if there's access to water, power, and adequate shade during the warmer months.
