Kia ora,

We are a kiwi couple (with experience housesitting) moving to Melbourne in September and we're keen to do some house sitting while we settle in to explore some of the local suburbs :)

We are lovers of all animals and have experience housesitting for a variety of pets in Christchurch, New Zealand. In the past, we have cared for cats and dogs, as well as chickens, small birds and even a possum. Jack grew up living on an animal sanctuary and Rory spent 2 years volunteering at the SPCA in the cats and small animals department so we both are very familiar with the needs of creatures big or small, feathery or furry.

We both enjoy a long walk out in nature so any dogs will be in good company, and we both tend to be introverts who like to spend time relaxing at home for any pets who like to have a human around. In our spare time, we like going out to try local restaurants and any interesting events that might be happening. We are both vegan but have no issues with preparing nourishing food for animals.

When housesitting, we always make sure to do a big clean before we leave and stock up on any household or pet supplies we have used so you will have peace of mind your home will be as you left it. References available too :) Read more...
