We are a young at heart, active, animal loving couple. We have been together for nearly 25 years and combine our love of new experiences, countries with house sitting. Rosie and Simon are an energetic couple from Hampshire in the UK. We were regular house sitters before moving to Spain, including the care of cats, dogs, bunnies, chickens and sheep. We came back to the UK due to Covid and Brexit and brought our newly rescued cat ‘Birdie’ (abandoned on a golf course) with us. We have spent the last 5 years renovating properties. House sitting moved to a back seat while we waited for the world to return to ‘normal’. Rosie works remotely for a UK school and can be based anywhere. Simon works part time as a self-employed handyman and can turn his hand to most things. Rosie & Simon are a mature, responsible couple who will love your furry friends and house sitting gives us the opportunity of meeting new families & their pets. Having cared for pets most of our lives, rest assured your loved furry family member will be treated to lots of love and cuddles and the same care you give them yourself. While away, relax in the knowledge your home will be treated with respect and cared for as if it was ours. We are both trustworthy and have UK Police Checks. With extensive property experience we both know what is expected in keeping a home running smoothly in your absence. When you return it will be left clean and tidy and even find the fridge stocked - it's as if you've never been away. Rosie will be sending regular updates (photos & videos) – reassuring you that all is well at home. House sitting gives us the flexibility to experience new cultures, countries and opportunities as well as meeting new people and their furry family members. Rosie has spent an extensive period in WA where she fell in love with the country, people and lifestyle.
