More information about this house sitter
+Currently seeking:
- one or two night stay in Canberra before 30/11, as I have an artwork in an exhibition.
- 7 night (beach location ideally) between 8/1-15/1/26
I've had pets most of my life. I have a 3yo Engiish Cocker Spaniel, Raya, and a 9yo indoor rescue cat, Hollie. As a single income earner, mother of two adult children/empty nester now, I am exploring opportunities to travel more often and within a sustainable budget, in Australia and overseas.
I am open to house sits for two days to ten days, generally during the school holiday periods.
I hold both teacher and social worker qualifications and current police and working with children checks as I work at a school. My own pets are cared for by a family member and/or kennel currently when I am away from home. I am new to this house sit idea and may, down the track, offer my own home and pets up for care, once I've tried this out!
Going to the beach, to art galleries, theatre, dance workshops and shows, browsing shops and exploring interesting new places is usually on my agenda in my free time.
I'm a responsible, non-drinker, non-smoker, neat, considerate, approachable, chatty, creative person and, at home, tend to spend my time writing, creating, reading and just going quietly. Sitting with my pets is my go-slow, rest time outside of my busy, demanding job.
Best suited to cats and moderately active dogs that need one walk per day.
Happy to provide personal references and chat further to see if pet care values and travel dates align. Read more...
