More InformationHello! I (Sandy) have recently retired from teaching and am interested in travelling the world with my husband, Kirk, who is a business professional with an engineering firm. We are both very responsible people who would treat your home as gently as if it were our own. We are non smokers with police clearance and clean driving records.
Currently, we have a little rescue cat, Cocoa, however we used to raise and show West Highland White Terrier Dogs. We also have experience with horses, birds and fish. We are longtime members of the Canadian Wildlife Federation and the Calgary Zoo. I enjoy bird watching with The Friends of Fish Creek environmental group. We are highly active people who enjoy hiking, golfing, skiing, biking, kayaking and of course, walking dogs! Kirk is very mechanical and would most likely be able to fix minor mishaps, should they occur, in your home. I have a lovely garden here in Calgary, and would enjoy puttering around in yours. Rest asurred, your home and your pets will be well taken care of! Please view a Canadian reference below.
Sandra & Kirk's reference

Sandra and her husband Kirk are meticulous, friendly and loving people. I have known them both for about twenty years and am happy to provide an excellent reference for them. I have stayed in their home on numerous occassions, and know first hand how carefully they care for both home and garden. They have had dogs who were always treated with the utmost of care and love, and now they have a cat who is showered with attention. Sandra is the type of person who falls in love with each little kitty or dog that she meets and has a warm, gentle mannerism with animals. Sandy and Kirk have also stayed at my home many times and they are the best guests one could imagine. Both are thoughtful, considerate and conscientious and I would not hesitate to recommend them to the housesitting community.
