My name is Heather and I am visiting Australia from Scotland on a working holiday visa. I am 25 and am travelling with my partner, Paul, who is 26. I will be working on a casual contract as a Nurse whilst here, but I really miss my dog from home (a greyhound!) and would love the opportunity to house-sit with canine companions whilst in Australia.

I have grown up with rescue greyhounds but have experience of looking after Labradors, Retrievers, Border Collies, Rough Collies, Bearded Collies, Dogue de Bordeauxs, Cocker Spaniels, Lurchers, Whippets, Terriers, Chihuahuas and am really comfortable with all breeds of dog!

Whilst dogs are my favourite pets, I have also previously had a pet guinea pig and fish so am comfortable with caring for these animals too if required. I am also used to being around cats of my friends/family though I have never personally had a pet cat of my own as I am definitely more of a dog person!
