Hi! We’re Sonya and Paul. For the past seven months we have been house and pet sitting fulltime around Perth. Before deciding to do pet/house sitting fulltime, we spent two and a half years renting while regularly looking after fur babies and homes for our clients through our MadPaws platform. We realised we were spending more time looking after fur babies and homes than actually being at our rental, so we took the leap. Pet and house sitting lets us spend our days with animals, explore different parts of WA, and help people feel at ease while they’re away. It just feels natural for us and something we genuinely love doing. We still pinch ourselves when we realise this is our everyday life now.

We’ve always had dogs and cats of our own, and have regularly looked after pets for family and friends. Since moving to Perth we joined a platform called MadPaws and for the majority of our 2 years on this platform we have been pretty much fully booked the whole time. We honestly just love it. We understand that Mindahome works a little differently than MadPaws and we would be totally happy to receive free accommodation in exchange for you generously sharing your fur babies and home with us. 🐾 ❤️


We’re happy to travel, so if you think we’d be a great fit for your fur baby and your home, feel free to reach out, location isn’t a big deal for us. We’re open to both short and long-term sits.
