We’re Lou and Steve, a married couple who both work from home and love a calm, cozy lifestyle.

Steve is a screenwriter, director, and dramaturg, and I’m an entrepreneur, creative non-fiction writer, and researcher. Because we work from home, your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches — they’ll have plenty of company, walks, playtime, and cuddles.

Animals have always been a big part of our lives. I grew up with dogs (my very first word was actually my dog’s name!) and Steve has had both cats and a dog. We know how much love, patience, and care pets need, and we’d be delighted to give yours the same.

We’re also spending more time in the country at the moment, curious to see whether we might swap city life for something quieter. Pet-sitting feels like a lovely way to do that while helping out families like yours.
