Hello lovely people! 😻

My name is Leashy and I am a full time house cat sitter and a certified cat whisperer (according to my family 🤭)

I have been house sitting full time since June 2025. I’m based in Melbourne and have been house sitting as a way to save money for travel and a home of my own 😊

I love all animals but I have always been the biggest cat person and that’s why I love house sitting! I feel beyond lucky to spend time with the beautiful floof balls, all with such different quirky personalities and adorable faces. Earning the trust of a timid or scaredy kitty is my biggest point of pride and I always take my time ensuring they feel safe and happy while their family is away.

I work for the ATO 4-5 days a week and in the evenings I just want to come home and snuggle up with a sweet fur baby to keep me company.

House sitting kind of fell into my lap, and I’m so grateful as it has been a wonderful and rewarding experience. It has been a fun way to explore new areas of my city, scouting for my future moves and makes normal life feel more like a holiday!
