We’re Jodie and Lance, recently retired professionals from Tasmania, travelling Australia by car with our much-loved 11-year-old Cavatzu, Wilbur.

After years of busy careers, we’re embracing a new stage of life—taking time to enjoy the journey, explore new communities, and appreciate the simple pleasures that retirement brings. House sitting allows us to travel at a relaxed pace while providing homeowners with confidence that their home and pets are in safe, caring hands.

As homeowners ourselves, we understand how important it is to find people you can trust. We are house-proud, reliable, and respectful, and we will care for your home as though it were our own. We take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy, and secure environment and following any instructions provided.

While we are new to formal house sitting, we bring decades of experience as homeowners, pet owners, professionals, and trusted members of our community. Throughout our lives and careers, we have learned the importance of responsibility, integrity, communication, and respecting the homes and possessions of others.

Pets are family, and we understand how important it is to keep them happy, comfortable, and settled while you’re away. We enjoy spending time with animals and are committed to maintaining their routines, providing companionship, exercise, affection, and attentive care.

We travel by car rather than caravan or motorhome, allowing us to fully settle into the homes we care for and focus on the needs of the property and pets entrusted to us.

Our companion Wilbur is a gentle and friendly Cavatzu who enjoys a quiet lifestyle. We are happy to discuss whether he would be suitable for your particular house sit and pet family.
