Hello and welcome to our profile. Our names are Denni and Mackenna, and we come from over 7 years of house sitting experience, mainly around the Geelong area. I, Mackenna, am a primary school teacher at Geelong Grammar School, having started working there once I graduated from Deakin University at the end of 2022. I am from Geelong and currently live in Torquay with my partner, Denni. I am an avid reader, netballer, baker, animal lover, runner and pianist when I'm not hanging out with my sister and her golden retriever (and light of my life), Jessie-Marie. I have been house sitting since I was 18 years old, having taken care of many breeds of dogs, cats, aviary birds, chickens, rabbits, and even a few lizards! I have the most experience with dogs, having worked with many breeds big and small from pugs and Maltese mixes to Great Dane's and ridgebacks. I also have significant experience working with young animals during the training phase and animals in their last stages of life, even caring for a Labrador retriever for a house sitting client who was very ill with cancer and sadly passing in my care when the family was visiting loved ones in the U.S. I have a deep love and respect for all animals large and small and believe in providing our dearest companions with the very best care, as they do for us. I am passionate about ensuring that your pet (or by my standards, furry member of the family) has access to the nutritional, physical, emotional and lifestyle necessities they needs to thrive, feel safe and live a fulfilling life. As a school teacher, my working hours are full time from approximately 8:45am-3:40pm Monday to Friday (excluding school holidays), and all other time would be dedicated to loving your furry, feathery or scaly friend!

My partner, Denni, is originally from Castlemaine and has recently moved to Torquay in the last 18 months. He is a carpenter and fine wood worker and is experienced and knowledgeable in maintaining both interior and exterior features of a variety of properties. As he grew up on his family's farm and fruit orchid, he is very well versed in maintaining gardens, lawns, plants and crops and shares my love of animals. Denni loves the outdoors, going to the gym, walking, music and cooking. Together, we form a team who will take superior care of your home and its contents so that you have peace of mind whilst you are away. We have are incredibly clean, organised and proactive people who understand the importance of maintaining these values in the home environment.
