We are two 24 year old English best friends, Phoebe and Kate, travelling Australia. We met studying for university in England and have been friends for 5 years. The last year we have been living in Melbourne together but we are excited to now live a more peaceful life whilst seeing the West Coast of Australia. We love Australia but are missing our pets back home. Phoebe has always grown up around dogs of all breeds (first being a Rhodesian Ridgeback) and now has a 5 year old cheeky rescue Staffy called Nelly back in the UK. Nelly is lively and loves all kinds of attention, so Phoebe is used to an energetic and high maintenance dog that also loves a cuddle. Kate has grown up around all kinds of animals, from a young age her grandparents owned; chickens, gineapigs, rabbits, budgies, cats and dogs, which Kate would love to look after when her grandparents grew old. Kate also loved her time working on a farm for 3 years looking after dogs, cows, donkeys, lambs, horses and more chickens! As two vegans we have a real love for animals and are comfortable looking after any pets required, as well as keeping up with house/garden maintenance whilst you are away. We are looking for a few weeks of peaceful living so please get in touch if we sound like a perfect pair to trust your home and fury friends with! :) Read more...
