Hi! We’re Chris and Falik, a couple based in Melbourne. Chris works as a film producer, documentary filmmaker and arts festival director, while Falik is originally from Indonesia and is currently studying in Melbourne.

We’re both warm, considerate and fairly quiet people, and we really value having a peaceful, comfortable home base. We’re tidy, responsible and respectful of other people’s spaces, and we understand that inviting someone to stay in your home — particularly when pets are involved — requires a great deal of trust.

Our work and study lives are quite flexible, so we’re often able to spend a good amount of time at home rather than simply using a house as somewhere to sleep. We’re attentive to instructions and routines and would take looking after someone’s home, garden and animals seriously. We’re also very happy to keep in regular contact while you’re away and send photos and updates so you know everything is going well.

We’re friendly and easygoing, love animals and enjoy exploring different parts of Melbourne, but we’re equally happy having a quiet night at home. Chris works in the arts and is usually occupied with writing, editing or developing projects, so a calm house with an animal or two for company is pretty close to ideal.

Most importantly, we’d want you to come home to things exactly as you left them: a clean, well-cared-for house and happy, relaxed pets.
