Hello, I’m Trish I’m an Australian who has recently returned home after 20 wonderful years in New Zealand. With my children now grown and at university, I’ve embraced a new chapter—one that allows me to enjoy a simpler, more flexible lifestyle caring for much-loved pets and people’s homes.

Professionally, I was a Project Manager for the New Zealand Government, a role that required a high level of responsibility, discretion, and organisation. I held government security clearance and was thoroughly police-checked and vetted. Those same standards carry through to my house sitting: I respect your privacy, your neighbours, and will care for your home as if it were my own. I’m an absolute animal lover, particularly cats and dogs. Over the years I’ve shared my life with DSH and DLH cats, Maine Coons, Ragdolls (which I adore), a Cocker Spaniel, Dachshund, and a much-loved mixed breed. I also have experience caring for horses, fish, and a budgerigar, and I’m always happy to learn—chickens have been a “work in progress,” and I’m open to reptiles too! I spend a lot of time at home or walking the neighbourhood, which makes me an ideal sitter for pets who need companionship, routine, cuddles, or regular walks—including anxious pets, Iggys, and those who prefer their humans close by. I’ve also been very well trained by my cats to respond promptly at any hour!

My house sits come via word of mouth and through house sitting platforms, and I’m happy to provide references on request. House sitting allows me to enjoy the company of animals while exploring different neighbourhoods, as I plan my future home purchase.
