I’ve shared my home with three cats and three dogs over the years, including my favourite breed, the Samoyed. Dogs and cats are equally welcome.

I visit Australia each year to see family and friends. I work remotely, so I can spend time at home with your pets around my work, and we’ll talk through their routine before agreeing a sit. I’m looking for walkable Sydney sits from 11 January to mid-February 2027, ideally for three nights or longer.

I enjoy getting to know the individual animal: the dog who needs cuddles, the cat who takes a few days to decide you’re acceptable, and all their particular habits. I’ve cared for puppies, a rescued litter of kittens, elderly dogs and cats, and anxious or reactive dogs.

My experience includes giving tablets and drops, including prescribed medication for arthritis, pain and anxiety, and using a support sling for a dog recovering from a hip replacement. I follow the owner’s and vet’s instructions and discuss individual care needs before accepting a sit. I’ve refreshed my pet first-aid training over the years.

I’ve used Puppy Culture methods with my own dogs. With your agreement, I’m happy to continue the routines and reward-based training you already use.

You can expect photo updates, a few stories from your pet’s day and a clear message if anything needs attention. We’ll agree how often you’d like to hear from me.

I’m a non-smoker and will look after your home as well as the animals in it, including everyday things such as plants and post. My police checks have always been clear, and I’m happy to show you my certificate at our meet and greet. Read more...
