A little about us:

Hi. Paul and Yvonna here. We are an active semi-retired couple who came to Australia 9 years ago, fell completely in love with the place… and decided to stay!

Our first two years in Australia were spent house sitting, which turned out to be the perfect way to discover our new home. We met wonderful people, looked after some very special animals and discovered that there’s something rather lovely about being trusted with someone’s home while they head off on an adventure.

Eventually, we put down our own roots in Queensland and became Australian citizens — although we still have plenty of Australia left to explore!

Animals have always been a big part of our lives. We come from farming and animal-loving backgrounds, with careers in dairy farming, architectural design and in the veterinary field as a receptionist/coordinator for a rural veterinary practice.

We understand that pets aren't just pets — they're family. We love getting to know their individual personalities, routines and little quirks. Whether your dog needs a good walk, your cat expects breakfast at precisely 6:47am, your stock needs their water or fences checked, or your chickens believe they run the household (they probably do!), we’re happy to fit in with their routine. We make sure they feel happy, safe and loved while you are away.

For us, we see house sitting as a win/win relationship. Homeowners can travel with peace of mind knowing their home, pets and property are in safe hands, being cared for with genuine love, respect and attention while we get to enjoy nature, fussing over animals, meeting new people and discovering new places.

We are trustworthy, clean, respectful and considerate of other people’s homes and privacy. We take pride in keeping a property well maintained, follow established routines and treating every home and every animal as though it were our own.

We might arrive as strangers… but hopefully leave as friends — with your pets wondering when we're coming back!
