Hi, I’m Pilgrim, a 44-year-old bookseller and illustrator based in Melbourne.

I’m a quiet, responsible homebody who loves animals and genuinely enjoys the company that comes with pet sitting. I’m an experienced pet owner and understand how important it is to keep pets comfortable in their own home and stick to their usual feeding, walking and general routines. I’m also very happy to send regular photos and updates while you’re away.

I work at an independent bookshop and spend much of my time outside work drawing, reading and relaxing with some crochet so your pets can expect plenty of company.

I’m a non-smoker, clean, considerate and respectful of other people’s spaces, and happy to take care of the everyday things that keep a home ticking over: plants, mail, bins and keeping everything neat and secure.

I’m particularly interested in sits around Melbourne and the inner suburbs, from a few days to several weeks.

Most importantly, I’ll treat your home with care and your pets as if they were my own.
