About this house sitting position in ABERDARE

We live in a fully renovated, 4 bedroom cottage on a quarter acre in Aberdare. It it is a modern home with old world charm. It is near to the shops of Cessnock for all your day-to-day needs, and 10 minutes from the wineries of the Hunter Valley. It is also a 35 minute drive to Newcastle, and 40 minutes to the Central Coast.

Aberdare is a peaceful neighbourhood with abundant birdlife, and even kangaroos in the paddocks on street away. The neighbours are friendly and supportive also.

We have four cats, one who is older and lives inside, and three who spend the night in a cat run and the day lounging around the house and garden. They are very low maintenance. and in very east routines. They can also be left alone for the day, or overnight, without any issues.

Along with the main house there is a separate office space which has it's own high-speed internet access, and a home gym also.

There is a resident in the granny flat at the back of the property that is available for support if needed during your stay. They come and go through the back laneway so the main house is totally private.
