About this house sitting position in Albany Creek

We are looking for a person or couple (non smoking) who are 30 and over to look after our home, cat Annie (15 years old) and Cavoodle puppy Cherry (3 years old).

Annie is getting on in years and is very low maintenance. She just requires feeding twice a day and is an indoor/outdoor cat. Annie is happy to be left alone and Cherry will have all the cuddles.

Cherry is very loveable and friendly but also pretty chilled. We usually take her for a 20 min walk everyday or throw the ball in the backyard if you can't get out for a walk.

Since Cherry is used to having one of us work from home, it would be great to have someone that will be around the house a bit. If you work all day in an office and have long commitments on the weekends then this housesit probably isn't for you.

We have a small garden that would require a water every 3 days while you are here (if it doesn't rain). No weeding or pruning maintenance required.

Other than that we ask that you respect our home and keep it neat and tidy. We have 1 air conditioner unit in the living area and fans in all other rooms, 4 bedrooms, 2 newly renovated bathrooms (2023) and 2 living areas. Renovated kitchen and flooring in 2021. There is a garage but our cars will be occupying it. Plenty of room in the driveway to park 2 cars.

We don't pay for house sitters but water, electricity and good wifi are all included in the stay.

Our brick home is situated in the quiet, beautiful and safe suburb of Albany Creek on the north side of Brisbane. It is a 25 minute drive to the city. The bus stop to the city is 2 doors down the road. A small shopping centre including woolworths, bakery, chemist, and thai restaurant are located 10 minutes walk away. 15 min drive to a huge westfield at Chermside, 2 min drive to a gym and pool, 5 min drive to Eatons Hill hotel (pub). 1 hour drive to beautiful Caloundra beaches and across the road from a bush area for walking or mountain biking.
