About this house sitting position in Alfred Cove

We live in a quiet street with good neighbours. Our home is a modern 2 storey house and is very comfortable. Guest/sitter accomodation is on the upper floor. A big bedroom with queen sized bed and large bathroom. We have a 15 year old 'needy' Pugalier called Otis. He is a loyal and good companion however being an 'only child', he finds it stressful if other dogs or small children are in the house. He is fine when out walking (which he dearly loves) and is not bothered when other dogs are out and about with their owners. He very much enjoys the quiet life and has always been an inside dog. He stays indoors whenever we are out and mostly sleeps. He is quite an anxious dog and is on daily medication for it. He also tends to make himself scarce whenever our grand children are around but is great around adults. He has never ever been aggressive towards anyone and warms quickly to strangers, particularly if they have a treat for him - very much food motivated. Having the pug genes, he sleeps on our bed with us and will more than likely do so with whoever looks after our property. So if a dog sleeping on your bed is a problem, this house is not for you! Otis is our world and we want the best for him whilst we are away. Otis loves going for walks but due to his age we tend to keep the distance to a block or 2. So we are looking for someone who will give him the love and attention he is accustomed to and who will be at home with him for as much time as possible. Read more...
