Dear house sitters 😊

We would love caring people (preferably non smokers) who adore dogs and are happy to look after our newly renovated house and garden whilst we are away.

Chino and Jet our dogs, are very friendly moodles and are inseparable brothers. They are indoor dogs and at night sleep in our bedroom with us. Chino especially loves to keep us company on our bed, whilst Jet is mostly happy on his bed on the floor.

The house is ground level, fully air conditioned with three plus bedrooms with wrap around verandahs. You can relax and unwind outside as the sun is setting under the large pergola, which is also a recent addition. The pergola is set amidst the tropical gardens which have fully automated irrigation sprinklers for the lawn but watering of plants and the garden will be necessary.

The house is fully air conditioned with a large smart tv. and good internet connection. Two bedrooms are available for the house sitter - one bedroom has a very comfortable king size waterbed and the other bedroom has a regular queen size bed - toilet and main bathroom are just outside the bedrooms.

The house sits in a quiet and friendly court which backs onto a large park with walking paths that lead down to the river and beyond. Every afternoon, Chino and Jet (our two 13 y.o. moodles) really look forward to their walks along the river which is only a stones throw away - it’s a beautiful walk. They are very loving and friendly dogs who nap most of the day, love to keep you company around the house and enjoy cuddles at night on the bed.

A very short stroll across the park is a small collection of corner shops - best Thai restaurant, mini mart, fish and chips, bottle shop, butcher, chemist, hairdresser and real estate agent. A larger shopping centre is only a few minutes drive down the road.

We are a semi-retired couple in our 60’s who love to join friends and family for catch ups and special outings, visiting our daughter and grandchildren in Cairns, as well as, travelling with our fur babies when possible.
