About this house sitting position in Armidale

Reposting this post as our housesitter - 3 1/2 weeks into this sit - is pulling out. He can stay till end of August but happy if someone is able to start earlier. Expect him to stay for a handover but there are detailed written notes s d we can do a face time walk through as well once you arrive (as we are obvious already away). So now we need someone again - looking for house sitter(s) to 20 October (plus a day or so if you like as we arrive back that afternoon),
Our award-winning eco house is in Armidale, northern NSW. We have a very friendly cat, once he gets to know you, and 6 chatty chickens.
The 2 bed house is on 1/2 acre, surrounded by extensive garden. Winters are normally cold but sunny, but our house is warm inside.
By October, it can be mid 30s, and even tropical thunderstorms. So very diverse.
However, won't be much gardening to do until spring arrives - other than please harvest to feed yourself / caulis, broccoli’s, various greens, lemons and mandarins, peas and more. Enjoy from the depths of a cosy winter to the beauty of spring when everything bursts forth around September-October. The lawn may need mowing from late Sept - early Oct but definitely not before but we can get our grandson to do this if necessary.
Ideally (but not a deal breaker) someone who is vegetarian and likes gardening and eating direct from the veggie patch. We don’t use chemicals in the garden or the house.
Stay long enough to get to know the city and all it offers - great cafes, boutique shops as well as 4 major supermarkets, art galleries, cinema, playhouse, national parks, community garden, farmers markets and lots more.
The house is extremely well set up, you don't need to do much other than feed yourself from the garden and enjoy the location!
NBN WiFi and smart TV as well as all the usual appliances.
We are only two blocks from the CBD, so usually walk everywhere, but also 10 min drive to the airport, 15 min drive to lovely Uralla, and 1+ hour to either Glen Innes or Tamworth, and 2-3 hours to the coast if you want a short break or have friends come and visit during your stay.
We can fit in a camper van if necessary, but not a caravan - it's a battle axe block so no room to manouvre a caravan sorry.
