About this house sitting position in Arundel

We are going away at Christmas time and need a sitter for our girl Millie who is a Japanese Spitz and very adorable.

Our home is relatively comfortable, brick and tile, with the usual amenities including some rooms air conned. We have a covered patio which is very nice for afternoon drinks, and a tidy garden front and back, and our home is opposite a magnificent park. All our neighbours are gems, so we are very fortunate to live here. We are 5 mins drive from Harbour Town at Biggera Waters (outlet shopping, cinemas, eateries), and about 5 mins drive from the Broadwater. Obviously the theme parks are not too far away either.

For your info, we do not have any cameras or recording devices but do have an alarm system.

In the photos, you will see pics of a single room - this has a king single bed. If a couple is staying, there will be a double bed room available for their use - this double room only has a ceiling fan, no air con.

Whilst we don't have a swimming pool, we are very close to the Broadwater and public swimming pools, and not that far from the famous Gold Coast beaches.

Please note - if our garage is in use, you will only be able to park vehicles on the driveway at the front of our home, there won't be undercover car parking available.

In relation to our beautiful dog -

* Our girl Millie is 6 years old and is a house dog, and has access to outside as well, in her fully enclosed yard
* her diet is fairly straight forward and no regular meds required - all full instructions will be available for the sitter
* she generally just goes to the dog park once a day or alternatively across the road to the park on lead is fine during our absence

Other than the above, the only other requirements re staying in our home is -

* may also need to water garden/pot plants occasionally, collect mail, put bins out etc - nothing too taxing
* keep house clean and tidy; we like a clean house, despite having a furry house dog, so we hope we will find the house that way when we return Read more...
