About this house sitting position in Baldivis

Hi! We are looking for a house sitter to stay in our home in Baldivis for 3 weeks in exchange for looking after our pets.

House: Large house located in Baldivis. Has a pool, large patio/entertaining area, fast wifi, home gym. No maintenance required from you at all. All we ask is that you treat our home respectfully & show as much love as possible to our fur-babies.

The house is a 15 minute drive to Shoalwater Marine Park & Rockingham Centro Shopping Centre. 20 minute drive to Mandurah. 10 minute drive to Warnbro Train Station. There are lots of bus stops within walking distance.

Dog:
Junior is a 3 year old mixed breed rescue dog. He has a beautiful nature & is extremely affectionate. He is playful & enjoys his toys but loves nothing more than cuddling up to someone on the couch or bed. He is great with kids & babies. He is used to being inside when we are home but is put outside when we are out.

He requires a 30 minute walk daily (or longer!) He is unfortunately reactive to other dogs when on walks on the lead. We are working with a trainer to combat this behaviour, and he has come very far and sometimes will just pant excessively when he is barked at by another dog. He is only 20kgs so will not pull you off balance, & the reactivity is very much fear based. It is easy enough to manage, we just change direction when we see a dog coming our way! When he is at home he is very quiet & will only ever bark if there is a knock at the door.

Cat:
Flick is an inside cat that has access to an enclosed ‘catio’ that she can go out to as she pleases. She is very affectionate & loves a cuddle - until she has decided that she has had enough & will then move to the other end of the couch, typical cat. She is approximately 10 years old but still acts young and playful when she wants to! She goes to the toilet in the Catio garden, so you will not have to deal with any litter trays. Read more...
