About this house sitting position in Baldivis

We’re looking for a reliable, caring house sitter to look after our home and, more importantly, our two very loved cats while we’re away.

Our home is a year-old house in Baldivis with two resident indoor only cats — one handsome gentleman and one lovely lady. Both are a little on the anxious and skittish side, particularly around new people and unexpected noises, so they may take a little time to decide that you’re worthy of their trust.

Once they’ve warmed up to you, they can be very needy and affectionate… although they also reserve the right to completely ignore your existence whenever they feel like it. Basically, they operate on their own schedule and we just live here.

The front landscaping may or may not be completed by the time we head off on holiday, while the backyard is still proudly embracing its natural sand-pit aesthetic. So thankfully, little to no gardening or maintenance is required.

We’re really looking for someone who will treat our home with care and most importantly, love and care for our cats as much as we do. Someone comfortable with nervous cats, happy to give them patience and attention, and who genuinely enjoys having furry company around would be ideal.

Looking after our home while we’re away
Feeding and caring for our two cats
Giving them attention, affection and reassurance (when they deem you acceptable)
Keeping an eye on the house and collecting mail
Very minimal/no gardening required

🐱 What we’re looking for:
Someone responsible, trustworthy, tidy and genuinely animal-loving.
Experience with anxious or timid cats would be a bonus.
