You must love cats - we have 3 indoor girls, all rescues - 1 beautiful chocolate point Siamese, 1 tuxedo girl and 1 black Manx cross. We live in a gated over 55s community which has many facilities but sadly visitors can’t use these without being in the company of a resident.
Our home is a flat villa style, ideal for anyone with mobility issues (which my mum had). We have a large bedroom with walk-in robe and ensuite, with another bathroom and spare single bed (in case someone snores!) with an open plan lounge, dining, kitchen. You would have 1 garaged car space, and there is parking for another car, but not for a caravan. We have streaming services Binge and Britbox, as well as iview and SBS on Demand, as well as a very extensive DVD library.
Your main duties would be to look after our girls, with food, cuddles and litter cleaning, and throw water on some pot plants. The rest of your time is your own - which is great because there is so much to do in this area.
You could learn to surf at one of our local beaches, go to the Palace Cinemas, enjoy bush and coastal walks, enjoy great restaurants, visit a local brewery within an easy flat 30 min walk. The whale migration season starts in June and you’ll never get tired of seeing these magnificent creatures and you can get up close and personal with local whale watching tours. You can jump out of an aeroplane if that takes your fancy, or just wander down to the local farmers market on a Sunday morning. And that’s just Ballina.
