About this house sitting position in Ballina

We have a well trained intelligent Kelpie named Kit (Kitty) she is 7 years old and loves belly scratches and chasing the ball on the beach or at the park. She’s not usually very interested in other dogs but is very gentle and occasionally enjoys dog companions but usually prefers human companionship.
Millie is a shy and timid cat, easily scared and distressed by change but warms up after a few days- on her own terms. Monty the rescued alexandrian parrot has a lot to say, usually more vocal in the afternoons, very entertaining and charismatic does not fly likes to sit on shoulders and take a walk around the house he does not like to be away from his cage for long and will let you know when he is ready to return home. Finally our amazing little composters Pudding and Charlie two Guinea pigs, Pudding is the more vocal one and advocates for Charlie, calling out for veggie scraps whenever people are nearby.

We have a large clean and tidy home on the river. s, 3 bedrooms 2 baths a fully fenced yard and veggie gardens. (We may need you to water specific areas if we’ve recently planted) Guinea pigs have a house on wheels that needs to be moved each day for fresh grass. It’s quite heavy so sitter needs to be strong enough to do this.

Easy access to public transport, literally outside front door.

Short walk to small shopping village, fisherman’s co-op ,parks, local tavern and restaurants, short drive to beach.

We have fantastic mobile reception in the area.
