About this house sitting position in Barrington 5kms from Gloucester

Our home is situated 5 kms from Gloucester on 20 acres, 0.5 km off main road. It is a comfortable , open plan, spacious home with 3 bedrooms (all queen double beds) and 2 bathrooms. A fully self contained flat attached, which our house sitters usually stay in as it is easy care and comfortable. Use of the main house is fine with us as well. There is a large patio and an in ground solar heated pool overlooking panoramic irrigated river flats .
10 minute drive into town which has a beautiful park along the river, Woolworths, iga, coffee shops etc. Gloucester has a lovely golf course and bowling greens.

We have a beautiful 10 year old Dalmatian ,’ Tilly ‘, who is an important member of our family being allowed to be an inside dog that really enjoys everyone’s company . There is also an adorable ,easy going cat named Alfie 11 years , who is quite a character. Our 6 Isa Browne chooks are great layers and just need food and water and collection of eggs.

Watering of pot plants and gardening as necessary would be appreciated depending on the weather.

There is internet connectivity and we have Netflix available .
Gym equipment for the energetic is available-a cross trainer and a treadmill as well as a table tennis to compliment the swimming pool opportunity to keep you fit and healthy while caring for our home and pets . Depending on the weather and growth some mowing of lawns on a zero turn ride on mower or we can organise someone else to do it. Read more...

“We absolutely loved house and pet sitting for Ros and Arthur. They made us feel so welcome and provided us with gorgeous cosy comfortable accommodation. All the animals were beautifully behaved and we loved looking after them all, especially their dalmatian Tilly whom we became very fond of. We swam most days in the pool and ate lots of the freshly laid eggs. The property is beautiful with magnificent views in every direction. Gloucester is just a short drive away with lots of cafes, a Woolies and a gorgeous riverside park which we enjoyed visiting with the dogs every day. As our first house sitting experience it was truly memorable and one we would be happy to do again.”

“We absolutely loved housesitting for Roslyn and Arthur. Tilly and Alfie were a pleasure to look after, and the chooks were very easy to care for and friendly. Their home has breathtaking views in all directions, with a huge undercover entertaining area to enjoy it from. The guest house was the perfect size and so cosy and warm for our stay in the cooler weather. We enjoyed a fire most nights and the warm sun steaming in during the days. The pool would be great to enjoy in the summer. Only 5 mins to Gloucester which has all you need. Would be our pleasure to sit for them again. ”
