Relaxing home with two lovely pets, private gardens & pool

We are looking for a clean, reliable and caring single person or couple to look after our home and much-loved pets while we are away in Japan from 1 November to 30 November 2026.

Our main priority is finding someone who genuinely enjoys spending time at home and will give our pets plenty of company.

Panko, our beautiful cat, and Stella, our sweet little Maltese dog, are both easy to care for and are used to having people around. Both stay inside at night, neither requires any medication, and Stella only needs short daily walks.

Because they enjoy company, we would particularly love to find someone who will be home more often than not, especially in the evenings. The sit would be ideal for someone who is retired or not working, works from home, or perhaps only works casually during the day.

Our home has lovely private gardens and a refreshing swimming pool, making it a very relaxing place to spend November. You will have your own comfortable guest bedroom with garden views.

We also have a beautiful marine aquarium, which is wonderfully relaxing to sit and watch during the day. It has an automatic feeder and is very low maintenance, requiring only very light attention while we are away.

Apart from looking after Panko and Stella, there are just a few light household tasks:

Hand-water some indoor and outdoor potted plants as required.
Give the pool a little daily attention, mainly scooping leaves from the surface.
Keep the house clean and tidy during your stay.
Provide any very light attention the aquarium may require.

We are non-smokers and are looking for non-smoking adult sitters only.

Own transport is preferred.

More than anything, we are hoping to find someone dependable who will enjoy our home, appreciate the garden and pool, spend plenty of time with Panko and Stella, and treat the house as their own while we are away.
