About this house sitting position in Beerwah

We have a spacious, open plan home on 1/4 acre in a very quiet part of town with wonderful neighbours. Because we both work from home and use some bedrooms as our offices, we only have one large guest room with a comfortable queen bed.

Living with us is a female 6 yr old mini Dachshund Bella and 11 x Hens. We also have Extensive Gardens, a small Fruit Orchid, and Pot plants for which all need appropriate care and regular watering.

We would like to meet our potential house sitter, by phone or zoom at least once prior to the time we are away but if that is not possible we do require a face to face meeting to show them in detail what needs to be done for our home, animals and gardens.

We are looking for someone who is quite, reliable, respectful, honest, has good communication skills and who loves to keep their surroundings to be kept clean, neat and tidy, who loves caring for gardens and pot plants, dogs and chickens. Someone who will care for our place as near to the way that we do.

We are in our mid to late 60s, very house proud, non smokers, non drinkers, non party people who love a quiet and clean environment. We both mostly work from home so we keep up with the care and maintenance of our home and gardens, to always keep it clean, tidy and well presented.

The main reason we are looking for house sitter is for our gardens and pot plants. We can find someone to care for Bella and the neighbours don't mind looking after the hens, but there is a lot of watering to do, especially if it doesn't rain. We have a large veggie garden from which we share produce with our friends and neighbours.
