About this house sitting position in Bickley

Our home sits on a large, mostly untamed, bush block on the edge of the Bickley Valley wine region, bordered by National Park. We are looking for someone to enjoy the tranquillity of our home for a month over Christmas and New Year, collecting the mail, occasionally watering some herbs and veggies and feeding our cat, Samson (and the magpies and new resident Quenda, Brenda).

The house is a quirky, 5 level home featuring rammed earth walls, slate floors and large windows overlooking the gardens. We have a 200 tree olive grove, perfect for walks and border the Korung National Park. We have lots of wildlife around, including kangaroos, possums, quendas, and 11 friendly (and hungry!) magpies.

We have three bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, one with a single bed and one with a cot. The bathroom has a shower in tub and there is a separate toilet on the lowest level of the house.

The bedrooms, kitchen and living area are air conditioned with individual reverse cycle units, keeping the house beautifully cool in the summer heat. Every room has ceiling fans, too.

Your own car is a must, as we are not near any public transport. Kalamunda is 6 minutes drive away, with public transport links here, as well as a plethora of cafes, gorgeous shops and the Kalamunda Farmers Market.
