About this house sitting position in Black Hill

We live in a comfortable three-bedroom home in a lovely country town approximately one hour west of Melbourne, just a five-minute drive from the town centre.

Our home is shared with three much-loved pets who are very much part of our family. Henry is our gorgeous, cuddly 11-year-old Pugalier who loves company and a little wander around the yard. He doesn’t require walks, but will need to be let outside for a toilet break around two to three times a day. There are also beautiful walking tracks directly across the road, which you may enjoy exploring, and Henry is more than welcome to join you!

Our two cats, Celeste and Monty, have very different personalities. Celeste is a timid tabby girl who prefers to take her time getting to know you, but you’ll often find her warming up to you while you sleep. Monty is our extremely affectionate, wonderfully lazy white Ragdoll who is always happy to receive some love and attention. All three animals get along beautifully. They’ll need feeding once a day, and the cats are free to come and go as they please through their cat flap.

We also have a collection of indoor and outdoor plants that will need a little care while we’re away. Our indoor plants generally need watering around twice a week, depending on the weather, while our outdoor plants will need watering twice daily.

More than anything, our home is full of family life. Kids toys, artworks covering the fridge, little handprints on the walls and all the beautiful, sometimes chaotic, reminders of a home filled with love, laughter and childhood memories. It’s our family’s safe place, and we feel incredibly lucky to have created such a happy home together.

We’re looking for someone who will genuinely enjoy staying here, appreciate the warmth and character of our home, and care for our pets as if they were their own.
