About this house sitting position in Blackstone Heights

We live in a beautiful location amongst gumtrees and wildlife, with close walking access to parks/bushland as well as a river where you can go kayaking/ paddleboarding/ swimming etc. We are also within 5 minutes drive of local shops including groceries and takeaway food stores, and we are 15 minutes drive from both the airport and Launceston city centre.

Our home is a single storey 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home, and we have two medium sized dogs (Kelpie x Border Collie). Our dogs are very friendly, and although they are fine to spend their day outside, they also love coming in and snuggling on the couch. They usually sleep inside in the loungeroom at night time, especially in the colder months. There are a few different types of leashes to use for taking the dogs for adventures including long lines that are great for letting them have a swim in the river down the road if you are keen! They are very happy with a walk once per day, and they are fine to be left in the backyard into the evening if you are out and about. They also LOVE doing tricks, and will do anything for a treat or a ball.

Our area is also home to alot of wildlife and it is common to see pademelons, wallabies, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, kookaburras and even a few resident Echidnas snuffling around!

The driveway is a short uphill stretch with a double carport at the top and additional room for another two cars at the top infront of the carport.

We have a full spare queen bedroom for use as well as your own bathroom including a separate deep bath tub. Ducted heating keeps the place cosy in the cooler months, and we get a beautiful breeze through the house with plenty of large open windows for when the weather heats up.
