About this house sitting position in BONDI BEACH

My wife and I have several business travel commitments through the year with our business which is normally an overseas period for up to 3 weeks and we have two young ladies (8 months at April 2026) who are still learning their way in the world but who love the local parks for walks, zoomies with other dogs and chasing balls. Both girls are ~ 25kg and have a little more growth yet so anticipate each to reach 27kg so medium sized staffy cross girls. They're good on lead walks and can be let off at dog parks for socialisation with other dogs with improving recall on command.

The pet sit is located in a garden apartment at Bondi Beach. The residence is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ground floor which is fully renovated and a comfortable space with a large enclosed 200sqm garden exclusive for our use and with a dog door built into the sliding doors so the girls can go between inside/outside.

The apartment is approximately 600m level walk to Bondi Beach and access to local shops, restaurants, coffee shops, pilates/gyms and of course the beach area which affords lots of outdoor time. The local dog park is located ~ 400m from the apartment or others ~ 1.5km drive from the apartment.

Our sitter requirements are to provide exercise opportunities with the girls (2 walks a day) at the local parks or dog parks. As they're young, they are still getting into a bit of mischief if left alone at home for too long despite having access to the full 200sqm garden so we prefer house sitters who either work from home or can be home with them most of the day but can leave them alone for 2-3 hours usually after they're had a big walk or exercise.

The girls sleep inside at night and are fully house trained to use the dog door but usually they sleep through the night 9pm-7am with no issues. They prefer to sleep in the master bedroom on their beds and best to close the door instead of having access to the house at night. Read more...
