About this house sitting position in BOTHWELL

My cottage is in the village of Bothwell (1 hour north of Hobart and 2 hours south of Launceston), 352 m (1,154.86 ft) above sea level, with a population of 497. There is a Post Office that also sells coffee and amazing homemade cakes, a Drs surgery, a Chemist and deliveries to the door by Coles- The Library is open one day a week. There is also a Cafe, and an Antiques shop open at weekends. Plus of course the Ratho Golf Course and the Castle Pub.
There are over 40 Australian Heritage Registered houses in the village - and many like mine that are over 100 years old.
The sitting room has a wood burning stove for heating, there are 2 bedrooms and a recently renovated kitchen with a ceramic butlers sink and Falcon 90cm free standing induction cooker.

The surrounding countryside is predominantly farm land with sheep, cattle and potato crops, with the hills to the north becoming increasingly rugged. There is abundant birdlife including black cockatoos, black swans, wedge tailed eagles and a species of parrot native to Tasmania - the green rosella.

Tilly is a 5 year old female Smithfield cross (mother a Smithfield/father a Huntaway). She needs to be taken for a run for about 45 minutes each day, which both she and I love! She has one evening meal a day that is different each night so as to interest her palate!

As it is winter, the grass will be hardly growing - but may need doing once with a battery operated whipper snipper.

Car would be mandatory for comfort.
