The home is 2-storey, 4 bed with some garden to maintain and a heated pool :).
We are heading to Japan in April and looking for our first ever home/dog sitters. Previously family has supported us but sadly now unable to. Both our dogs are rescues and therefore we need to have them looked after at home in as familiar an environment as possible.
Our dogs are our family, we have 2 working dogs - both are around 8 years of age. Our boy - Rogue is a border collie, he has some noise phobias but is very adorable and sweet - you can never pet him enough! Our girl - Rebel, is a collie/cattle cross and is great with people - but no good with other dogs. For this reason we ask that they are not ever walked off leash or allowed to meet and greet other dogs while in your care. This will keep things safe and calm for all. We appreciate this may put some people off - but we want to be up front about it. The dogs live in the home mostly but aren't allowed on furniture and go in crates at night. They do spend some time outdoors if they want, Rogue has some trauma from being left outside alone for a long period so he prefers to be indoors with you like a shadow :). We would prefer a couple if possible, to manage both the dogs and also if at least one person is at home most of the time, as they are used to WFH owners!
