About this house sitting position in Brighton

We are looking for a couple or single person, who ideally are retired or can work from home to look after our 2 dogs and our house while we are away.
We have a lovely 2 bedroom + study home in Brighton, 10 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the Jetty Rd precinct, and close by to the trio of lush ovals that is the Brighton Sports complex, with good internet, a lovely kitchen, cosy lounge room, with all the streaming services on the tv, and a leafy garden.
Our 2 dogs are - an 11yo German Shepherd girl Lena & a 9yo dapple short-haired Dachshund boy Nanaimo.

The dogs are very much inside dogs, but they are cruisey for the most part and don't need much more than company and a gentle amble around the ovals each day.

They both have medication that they take with their meals. Lena the GSD is on meds for anxiety and arthritis, which she needs to be given manually, while Nanaimo the Dachshund is on meds for his skin allergies and he eats it straight from his bowl of food.
They are easy to walk, (easier with two people, but can be done with one) however Lena is reactive to other dogs, so we avoid contact when walking (cross the street etc). They both go slowly, and just want to sniff, so its very cruisey for the most part.

We work from home, so the dogs are very used to having our company most of the time, and they are both very much inside dogs. We leave them inside when we go out, and they are normally ok for around 5 hours, so ideally we'd be looking for someone who can be at home and be around for the majority of the time. Read more...
