About this house sitting position in Broadmarsh

Our home is located on a peaceful 3.5-acre property in Broadmarsh, Tasmania. It's a quiet rural setting with plenty of space, making it perfect for someone who enjoys the countryside and spending time with animals.
We are located 40 minutes from Hobart.
IGA 10 minutes away or 15 minutes to Coles/Woolworths

We're looking for someone who will treat The main responsibilities are feeding and checking on our animals each day, ensuring they have fresh water, collecting eggs from the chickens, and giving our two dogs plenty of love and attention. No heavy farm work is required—just daily care and keeping an eye on everything while we're away.

Good size home. Large neck, starlink internet, woodfire

Pig, 2 goats, 3 sheep, chickens, and our 2 dogs, Luna and Raven 😀

We're hoping to find a reliable, respectful, person, couple or family who is comfortable staying in a rural location and has experience caring for animals.

“Looking after Amber and Flick's property and animals was a great experience. We were well briefed and provided with a comprehensive list of instructions, which were easy to follow. Although the animal care was a bit daunting at first and requires some time commitment, we got the hang of it quickly. Luna the dog is very friendly (and energetic) ; Elsie the sheep surprised us with how much she likes people; Frankie the pig loves to have his tummy rubbed- what a character. The house was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed, and communication with Amber was easy. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to future house-sitters.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Ambers home in Broadmarsh. Views across the vally were beautiful and we were warm and comfortable. Sitters need to be prepared for a mix of animals needing care, attention and food morning and evening but it's well worthwhile. Luna is smart and affectionate and she likes to stay close and Frankie, the little pig, is cheeky, determined and very charismatic. Communication was good, backed up with clear written instructions. Thanks Amber and Flick for choosing us to care for your home and pets.”
