About this house sitting position in Bruce

We have a 1 year old rough collie, Freddy. He is well trained but still a teenager so has a fair bit of energy. Needs a daily walk and some play. We have a pretty low maintenance garden that just needs occasional watering.

Bruce is a quiet, leafy suburb in Canberra’s north, with a relaxed residential feel while still being close to everything. There are plenty of walking paths and green spaces nearby, including Bruce Ridge Nature Reserve, which is great for dog walks and spotting the occasional kangaroo.

Belconnen is only a few minutes away, with supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and the Belconnen Markets, and Lake Ginninderra is nearby for longer walks. The University of Canberra and Australian Institute of Sport are also close by.

It’s an easy base for exploring Canberra, with good public transport and the city centre and major attractions only a short drive away. You get the convenience of being close to everything while coming home to a peaceful neighbourhood.
