About this house sitting position in Buderim

Hello!
We are going away on holiday - and had a cat sitter cancel on us from another site a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, the next person that came to see us knew that they couldn't do the first two days - but failed to mention that to us. Our last sitter from the other site was pretty awful too (little unchanged, didn't give the correct food, didn't leave water etc) - so we're trying a new site! Maybe you're the one to remove my anxiety and nervousness now about Max, my little rescue boy.

We live in a small single story house which we rent. The house and outside is thus very strictly non-smoking. I work from home usually, so if that's you too - you'll have a good set up! (I'll even clean my desk ;) ). We don't expect you to be in all the time - but to be home at nights, not have any wild parties, and to care for Max like he's your own.

If it's dry we might ask you to use the hose to spray the small front garden, but there's no other gardening requirements. Whilst we live on the main road, we have a lovely balcony looking over the trees behind us.

We do prefer a meet and greet for all parties, and we would prefer police checks and references too.

We are near bus stops, but we would suggest that you have your own transport for a supermarket trip, getting to the beach. Previous sitters have used the bus - but I don't have any advice to give you! Our drive is small, but there will be space for your car. If you're not happy parking on it due to the main road, you can park just further up the road on the other side.

Sit would best suit a single person, definitely no children and no other pets though - sorry. Max finds kids too distressing, and our lease doesn't allow other pets (we think he'd find that distressing too anyway).
