Bunbury, Western Australia

About this house sitting position in Bunbury

Enjoy Christmas and New Year by the beach in beautiful Bunbury, Western Australia!

I'm looking for a caring, reliable house sitter to look after my gorgeous little Coco, a 14-year-old Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu cross, while I'm away from about 15 December 2026 to 15 January 2027.

My comfortable three-bedroom, one-bathroom home is in a fantastic location, just 200 metres from the beach and an easy five-minute stroll to Bunbury's CBD, with its cafes, restaurants and shops. Beautiful coastal walks and extensive bike paths are right on the doorstep, making it a wonderful base for enjoying summer in the South West.

The home has a separate lounge, dedicated home office (ideal for remote working), outdoor spa, BBQ and entertaining area, established gardens and a private yard.

**About Coco**

Coco is a much-loved older girl who enjoys a fairly relaxed lifestyle. Her needs are simple but important: medication mixed into her breakfast each morning, a short daily walk and, above all, affection and companionship in the evenings and overnight. She's happy for you to get out and enjoy yourself during the day but does appreciate having someone home with her at night.

**What I'd ask of you**

Apart from caring for Coco, the responsibilities are simply watering the garden and keeping the house clean and tidy. I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dogs, is comfortable caring for an older pet and will treat Coco and my home with kindness and respect.

**Dates and flexibility**

Ideally, I'd love someone for the full period of 15 December 2026 to 15 January 2027, but I'm happy to consider shorter or longer arrangements for the right sitter.

It's a lovely place to spend the summer holidays, whether you're looking to relax by the beach, explore the South West or enjoy a comfortable home while working remotely.

I'd love to hear from you if this sounds like a good fit. Please tell me a little about yourself and your experience caring for dogs.
