About this house sitting position in Burnside

I have a near new 4 bedroom house in Burnside. The garden is still being built and I wouldn’t expect you to do any yard work whilst staying.

I have two dogs, a kelpie and a cattle x bull arab. The kelpie is very independent and not too needy, the cattle cross is at the other end of the spectrum. He likes to be near you and is very affectionate, having said that, as he’s maturing he is finding himself more comfortable apart for longer. They both play very well with each other and at the end of each night they are both exhausted. During the day when I am not home they are left outside, but when I am home, I let them in the house and they can come and go as they please. They do not need walking, just feeding, once daily meds for one of them and cuddles.

The carpeted parts of the house are kept blocked off, that way if there are any accidents from them it is an easy clean up (there haven’t been any issues for quite some time now).

I don’t expect you to be home all day with them as I’m usually not due to working. All that would be required is to give them breakfast and dinner which is just scatter fed and meds for one of the dogs in the morning. I wrap the meds in cheese and he thinks it’s a treat so it’s super easy. I would also ask that they are locked inside the house at night while your sleeping, mostly so they aren’t out vigilantly surveying the fence line and barking at people walking past super early in the morning.

You would be welcome to arrive a few days early and stay a few days later if you wanted more time on the Sunshine Coast to explore. You would have use of the guest bedroom and main bathroom. Read more...
