I live on 3/4 acre (3000m2) with two very much loved mutts - an 4 year old Bull Arab girl and my current foster dog, a 3 year old Mastiff. They are inside / outside dogs looking for someone to continue to pamper them and play tug a war while I go away on holidays.

My girl, Ruby, is your typical chunky monkey bull arab. She's low energy and loves a good belly rub, laying in the sun or curled up beside you watching TV. She has come from an abused background and is wary of strangers at first until she knows them so looking for someone with patience to win her trust. Cheese is the way to her heart :)

I foster rescue dogs and my current foster boy, Oggy, is very friendly, affectionate and loves everybody. He's a big boy at 40kg. He has great recall, sits for his dinner and rarely barks however I realise not everyone is a "big dog person". However as we live on a large block, you won’t have to walk him :)

My home is a 4 bed / 2 bath lowset brick home with a long north facing back verandah that captures the sun throughout the day. It's a lovely spot to sit during summer, or you may prefer to laze in the hammock.

There is a lockable garage for your car and offstreet parking for your boat.

There is also a dedicated home office, with two screens and wifi for anyone working from home.

I love to cook, especially baking, so the kitchen has mixers and pans and choppers etc to wile away a Sunday.

I live in a cul de sac with great neighbours who are fellow dog lovers. Unfortunately their cats aren't a fan of my dogs so they can't stay with them while I'm on holidays ;)

The city is around a 40min drive down the highway and the beaches of Bribie are 20mins away heading north. The nearest train station is 7km with trains to the city running express all day and taking 42mins.

Housework wise, I'd only be seeking someone to collect the junk mail, run the robovac, keep the house tidy and water the pot plants. You are welcome to potter around the yard to your heart's content but it is not required or expected.
