Hello Sitters,
We live on a 40 acre farm near the famous “Pub with no Beer”. Have 20 head of quiet beef cattle + calves + 1 quiet bull. Have 20 chooks, + 1 rooster, they need to be watered daily and collect the eggs , which you are welcome to. We have a self feeder and an automatic door which opens & closes. There is also a small vegetable garden, if you like to garden more the welcome to add some winter crops. Have lots of plants & well maintained gardens. We also have an agistment property just up the road a short buggy ride to be checked weekly as we have Weaner cattle there. Looking for a couple that can take care of our property. Would need to have some knowledge of farming, cattle handling, as cattle get moved on a daly bases. There are electric fences for cattle to move through. Need to have some knowledge on electric fences, as they need to be checked to make sure they are working properly. Have a buggy to use when checking and moving cattle. Have a ride on mower for mowing the house yard. Our closest town is Macksville 40klms away, where you can do your shopping. We have in our surrounding area beautiful beaches and rainforests. Would prefer a couple to have their own caravan, there’s plenty of space, power & water supplied. There is a laundry, toilet and shower if needed. We use solar power also still connected to the grid, have wifi. Our home is located right at the top of the Nambucca River which runs through our property. Great for swimming, canoeing and fishing. We also back onto the state forest, great for bush walking, 4x4 driving, collecting fire wood . There are fruit trees which can be eaten when in season.
