Our spacious home is filled with natural light (4 bedroom/2 bath) and is located on 5 acres in Byron Bay just 5 minutes from CBD. Very quiet and relaxing. Large kitchen/dining room/lounge and covered deck. Our lovely male (desexed) 5 year old whippet lives with us and would be much happier staying home with some loving caretakers than going away to stay some other accomodation. Contrary to popular belief, whippets do not require much exercise. Known as the "fastest couch potato" he loves snoozing the day away on our lovely deck but wouldn't pass up the opportunity to chase after a tennis ball!

THIS IS A PAID POSITION - as it will require the house/dog sitter to look after a couple of additional dogs. (I have a dog minding business so some of my regular clients would likely like their dog minded during my absence - some for daycare and some for overnight.) We also have an AirBnb cottage on our property that has a couple of booking during this time period so the house sitter would have to look after the AirBnb also (which includes cleaning the cottage and preparing for new guests.). We can discuss payment details.

Ideally we are looking for an active couple that we can meet beforehand and is available a couple of days before we depart so we can go over our routine with dogs and cottage. Read more...
