About this house sitting position in Camp Hill

We're looking for a reliable, caring and experienced house sitter to look after our home and beloved dog, Cooper, while we're overseas over Christmas and New Year.

Our home is located in Camp Hill, a lovely, leafy suburb of Brisbane, conveniently situated close to local cafés, shops and amenities. It's a comfortable, welcoming and non-smoking home, and we'd love for our sitter to make themselves at home during their stay.

**Meet Cooper! 🐾**

Cooper is our gorgeous 7-year-old Saint Bernard x Bull Arab. He's a big boy (approximately 43kg!) with an affectionate, gentle nature towards people and a lot of personality. He's happiest relaxing at home, enjoying some company and finding a cool spot to snooze.

Cooper has hip dysplasia, which is managed with ongoing veterinary care and supplements. He also has a strong prey drive and is not suitable for interactions with unfamiliar dogs, particularly smaller breeds. For this reason, we're looking for someone confident and experienced with large dogs who understands the importance of secure gates, responsible lead handling and following established safety routines. He is not to be taken to dog parks or allowed off-leash.

**What we're looking for**

Our ideal sitter is responsible, trustworthy and genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs. We'd love someone who is comfortable managing a larger breed, happy to maintain Cooper's usual feeding and care routines, and able to keep us updated occasionally while we're away.

Household responsibilities are fairly minimal: keeping the home clean and tidy, putting the bins out weekly and watering a few outdoor plants as needed.

We've prepared a comprehensive house-sitting guide with everything you could possibly need, including Cooper's routine, feeding instructions, veterinary contacts, emergency procedures and household information. We're also very happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable.

Above all, we're hoping to find someone who will treat Cooper with the same kindness and care we do, so we can enjoy our holiday knowing he's safe, happy and comfortable in his own home.
